and all is verry quiet. I kinda like it this way. Just finished my work out and I’m downing my protein and talking with you all. Aaaaaaaaaaaaah this is nice I don’t even hear the birds. Well anyway on with a new day, which I hope isn’t as aggravating as yesterday. I’m going on 64 years old and in all this I can never understand people’s negativity…….oh I under stand people have a bad day or even a bad week. I chock it down to they are not happy so there goal is to make everyone around them unhappy. Suck it up you miserable folks life is what you make it………….and that is all I’m going to say about that. It’s 7:15 am and I’m at work all by myself and it is so peaceful, I have my earphones on and I’m listening to the fifties. For a workday it doesn’t get any better that this. I saw on the news that it has been 25 years since the Challenger explosion…I remember that day like it was yesterday. Sad It’s funny how you remember such things, not often…there has been only two so far in my life, the other one was when JFK was shot, I was a sophomore in high school. OK enough sad, I’m spoiling my own Friday and Fridays are for happy thoughts.

Well haven’t been here in awhile………….but I’m back. Got through Thanksgiving and it was great went to my daughter’s boyfriends mom’s and had a wonderful time. It was relaxing eating and great conversation with a nice family. Now Christmas is coming fast and furious. The child in me is looking forward to it and the adult in me just wants to get through it. Altho’ the adult gets a week off from work. Yippee!!!! Even the child in me is happy about that.

This morning on the news I heard they are celebrating JFK’s 50th anniversary of being elected to office………………….what’s that? I can understand Washington and Lincoln, but for those who read American history, what about John Adams? Thomas Jefferson? even a person who wasn’t a president, Ben Franklin? Don’t get me wrong I really don’t dislike JFK and I will admit I’ve read a lot about him and the whole Kennedy clan, good reading I might add. I just don’t think 50 years after the election it should be celebrated.

I’m watching a movie about World War II, one of many I’ve watched about any war. My question is. Why did they do a lot of dancing after war was declared? Every movie I’ve see and every bit of history I have read has never said why. However I have a theory. People back then needed the closeness of others because they weren’t as cynical then, just frightened, Strange things cross my mind, huh? I on the other hand was young in the Viet Nam era we didn’t dance we protested. I guess that’s all I have to say about that.

Sunday what can I say????? The day before Monday, for some it is a time for worship for others football and gathering with friends. I look as Sunday as bittersweet as it is the day before Monday, but it is also a restful day. Sometimes I do chores, but mostly I do quiet things, read, watch old movies or work on a hobby. I’ve just taught myself to do cross stitch, it’s going slow, but I’m in no hurry or work on my current jigsaw puzzle.

First day back..

My first day back to work after a week….about three hours into the day it was like I never had time off. I think you all know what I mean. However, I do miss the people. Most everyone is great. I am dreading when my boss goes out on maternity leave as as far as A/P is concerned, I’m it. It’s all on me. Well the only thing I can do is take it one day at a time.

If anyone reads this they will be able to tell I am new at this blog thing so the title maybe a little redundant.. I wanted to start this blog because sometimes I have a lot to say and rather than bend the ears of family and friends I thought this would be a good place to say what I have to say, good or bad. Vent as it were. Maybe me or anyone who reads it will get something out of it.
